About NSFDC

The National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC) was set up by the Government of India in 1989. It is a strictly non-profit organization dedicated to the economic empowerment of persons belonging to Scheduled Castes.

NSFDC provides financial assistance for income-generating activities and loans for higher education (in India & abroad) at concessional interest rates. Through its various channel partners, NSFDC aims to uplift families living below double the poverty line.
